The Product Manager (PM) at PDCflow is a critical, high visibility role, responsible for the strategic growth and development of the products they manage.  They will coordinate the design, implementation and delivery of features throughout the entire product lifecycle. PMs are expected to assist with the growth of the company's existing businesses as well as new initiatives. PM should be comfortable working across: Engineering, Marketing, Project Management, and Design/UX.

  • Design and create new product functionality to improve sales, generate brand differentiation or improve the customer experience.
  • Expected to lead the process of making recommendations and setting technical requirements for overall functionality, new initiatives and other enhancements.
  • Define requirements and objectives for new features and projects. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to lead the design and definition of product features and to support implementation and execution.
  • Oversee individual projects to ensure vision/goals are maintained through development.
  • Measure product functionality and user acceptance – determining success, failure, and future improvements.
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.

  • Remain current on new technologies and changes in the PDCflow products and services.
  • Assist with marketing email content by giving input about products to Marketing.
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
The Product Manager must maintain three areas of responsibility. These three areas are: Responsibility to the Customer, Responsibility to the Company and Responsibility to Management.
To the Customer, the Product Manager will work closely to understand the challenges the customer is experiencing with the mindset of how PDCflow can help solve these problems with technology.

To the Company, the Product Manager will become the expert at understanding PDCflow products and leveraging features to deliver solutions.
To Management, the Product Manager will focus on providing reporting and insight to Management, to ensure consistency across processes and systems.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
The Product Manager will work closely with all departments and management to ensure the software functionality meets the company’s goals.  The Product Manager will also work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure success in regard to the services PDCflow provides and revenue goals.

  • Three to five years related experience in a software product management role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

Required Qualifications
  • Passion for creative, resourceful problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate software projects with various engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams - work prioritization, planning and task delegation.
  • Proficient in the Agile/Scrum software development methodology.
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills and experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with existing clients via face to face, over the phone, or through email.  
  • Must be able to prioritize time and tasks.
